FOUNDATION TO YEAR 4 NEWS
Anzac Day
25th April 2019
3/4A have been learning about the significance of ANZAC Day. Part of the unit has included reading relevant picture story books. One book that the students read was “Memorial”. It is a story to help us all remember that generations have been involved in conflict over time. The students then made their own “Memory Tree”, which is now on display in the P-4 building.
Cultural Studies
8th April 2019
In Term 1, Year 3/4 students have been learning about plants and animals. To finish the unit of work, students learnt about Aboriginal hunting and gathering methods.
Ruben Ricker played the didgeridoo to the class to complete the unit. Everyone in 3/4A was thrilled with his talent.
